About Michael K.

Michael K. Ruberg built a legal foundation at Salmon P. Chase College of Law, Northern Kentucky University, earning his J.D. in 1982 after completing undergraduate studies at Thomas More College where he received a B.A. in 1978. He entered private practice soon after finishing law school and has maintained ties to the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky legal communities for decades.

Admitted to practice in both Ohio and Kentucky, Ruberg has practiced across state lines. He has been active in local bar associations and in community organizations. Those memberships have kept him closely connected to colleagues who handle a range of civil matters, and to civic groups that serve people facing personal and financial transitions.

Much of Ruberg’s work involves wills, trusts and the administration of estates. He assists clients in creating estate plans, in setting up trusts, and in managing probate proceedings after a death. He also advises executors and trustees on their duties and on practical steps to settle estates and preserve assets for heirs. His practice combines drafting documents with guiding clients through the procedural steps that follow a death or a need for long‑term planning.

Ruberg’s involvement outside the office reflects those professional interests. He is a current member of the Cincinnati Bar Association. He has served on the Estate Planning Council of Northern Kentucky since 2010 and has been active in the Estate Planning and Probate Sections of the Northern Kentucky Bar Association since 2010. His community work includes volunteer service with St. Vincent DePaul beginning in 2015 and continuing to the present.

He practices at Ruberg Law, PLLC, where he handles estate planning and probate matters for individuals, families and fiduciaries. He splits his work between drafting and counseling and overseeing estate administration tasks for clients in both Ohio and Kentucky. He currently practices estate planning and probate law at Ruberg Law, PLLC.
