Michael Hawk has practiced law in Texas since the mid-1990s. He launched his own practice early in his career and has maintained a steady presence in the state’s legal community for more than three decades.
Hawk began his legal studies at Southern Methodist University in 1992 and earned his Juris Doctor in 1995. The academic years at SMU provided the foundation for the practical work that followed. He came out of law school ready to set up a practice rather than join a large firm, and that choice shaped the next phase of his career.
In 1995 he established Hawk Law PC. From the outset he ran a small firm model, overseeing day-to-day operations while handling client matters directly. That structure allowed him to manage a full docket and to maintain hands-on involvement in cases and client counseling. Across years of practice he has navigated the procedural demands of Texas courts and worked with other local counsel when matters required coordinated representation.
Hawk is licensed to practice in Texas. He has spent his career focusing on the practical needs of clients in the state, handling matters through every stage from initial consultation to resolution. Colleagues and clients have come to rely on the continuity offered by a long-term local practitioner who understands court calendars, local rules, and the professional landscape in Texas.
Today Hawk continues to operate from Hawk Law PC. He supervises the firm’s work and remains engaged in the legal and administrative aspects of the practice. His office serves clients in Texas, and his practice centers on providing legal services to individuals and businesses within the state.
