About Michael

Michael Galyen earned his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2020 after beginning his legal studies in 2017. He completed a three-year program that prepared him for practice in Texas courts. The timeline of his education places him among a recent cohort of attorneys who entered the bar in the early 2020s.

After graduating, he moved into practice in Texas. He is licensed to practice in the state and has maintained his professional standing there since finishing law school. Early years in practice often require rapid adaptation to courtroom procedures and client counseling; Galyen’s background reflects that transition from law student to practicing attorney.

Throughout his first years in the profession he took part in the kinds of tasks common to new lawyers: legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and advising clients on procedural options. He also joined professional associations in 2020 and has remained involved in the organized bar. That engagement has kept him connected to peers and current developments in state law.

Colleagues describe his work as steady and pragmatic. He tends to emphasize clear communication with clients and careful preparation before hearings or negotiations. Those habits guide how he handles matters and how he manages the day-to-day demands of a legal practice. When complex questions arise, he relies on methodical analysis and a measured presentation of options to clients and opposing counsel.

Galyen’s practice has unfolded entirely within Texas. He gained practical experience in state forums and administrative settings, responding to the kinds of procedural and substantive challenges that commonly arise in that environment. Over time he has developed a routine that balances client contact, documentation, and court appearances.

Outside of direct client work he remains engaged in ongoing professional development. Staying current on changes in state rules and emerging case law has been part of his practice rhythm since 2020. That attention to continuing education helps inform the advice he gives and the strategies he pursues on behalf of clients.

He currently practices law in Texas.
