About Michael

Michael Fuller studied philosophy at Oregon State University and graduated in 2002. He moved on to law school at Willamette University College of Law, earning his J.D. in 2006. His educational background combined analytical training and legal study, shaping an approach that values clear argument and careful preparation.

After law school Fuller began his legal career in trial work. In 2007 he joined OlsenDaines, PC as a trial lawyer. That position put him in court regularly and into the day-to-day tasks of litigation: preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions and presenting cases to juries or judges.

The years spent at OlsenDaines deepened his familiarity with courtroom procedure. He handled factual development, evidence presentation and witness examination. He also learned how to translate complex information into concise themes that could be presented to a judge or jury. Colleagues and clients relied on him to manage the practical demands of preparing a matter for trial and to maintain focus through the pretrial process.

Fuller’s move into private practice brought a smaller-firm perspective. He joined Underdog Law Office, where the pace and client contact are different from a larger litigation shop. The environment at Underdog Law Office allowed him to take a hands-on role with each matter, stay involved through discovery and hearings, and remain present at trial. He balances courtroom advocacy with client counseling, helping people understand options and likely outcomes at each stage of a case.

Outside the courtroom Fuller’s background in philosophy influences how he approaches disputes. He tends to parse issues into their component parts, test assumptions and present arguments that address both law and underlying fact patterns. That methodical style informs his trial preparation and his interactions with clients, expert witnesses and opposing counsel. He remains active in litigation and trial practice at Underdog Law Office, handling courtroom matters and advising clients through the litigation process.
