Michael Eddie Zimmerman is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1978. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Zimmerman is the principal attorney at Michael E. Zimmerman, Inc., a law firm located in Arroyo Grande, California. He has been practicing law for over 47 years, serving clients throughout San Luis Obispo County and the surrounding areas.
Mr. Zimmerman earned his Juris Doctor degree from Western State University College of Law in 1978. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in 1975. During his time at Western State University, he developed a strong foundation in legal principles that have guided his extensive career.
Mr. Zimmerman concentrates his practice in the areas of estate planning, elder law, probate, business law, real estate, and trusts and estates. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving the creation of wills and trusts, administration of estates, business formation and transactions, real estate transactions, and related legal issues. His practice encompasses all stages of legal proceedings, including initial consultations, document preparation, negotiations, and court appearances when necessary.
Throughout his career, Mr. Zimmerman has handled numerous cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of San Luis Obispo. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate attorney at the Law Offices of David & Zimmerman in Arroyo Grande, where he gained valuable experience in various areas of law.
Mr. Zimmerman is an active member of the California State Bar Association and the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association. He has served on the board of directors of the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association and has been involved in various community organizations. He is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of San Luis Obispo County effectively.
