I completed my undergraduate research on the University of Illinois, Urbana, and earned my regulation diploma from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating from regulation college, I enlisted within the US Army, serving from 1987 to 1993. In 1994, I joined the Illinois Lawyer General s Office in Chicago as an Assistant Lawyer General. During my tenure, I held several key positions inclusive of Deputy Chief Criminal Prosecution, lead prosecutor within the Deputy Chief Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, and Deputy Chief Special Litigation.
