About Michael

Michael Bednarz earned his law degree from Suffolk University Law School in 2013 after completing a Bachelor of Science at Saint Michael’s College in 2010. His academic path kept him in the New England legal community, and he built the foundation for a practice centered in Massachusetts courts and agencies.

He is a partner at Berluti McLaughlin & Kutchin LLP. In that role he handles a variety of matters for the firm’s clients and shares responsibility for managing cases from intake through resolution. His position involves supervising case preparation, advising clients on procedural options, and coordinating with colleagues on litigation strategy and client communications.

Bednarz is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and maintains active involvement in the local bar. He holds membership in the Boston Bar Association, where he stays connected to developments in state law and the broader legal community. That membership offers access to continuing education and networking that inform his everyday practice.

Over the course of his career he has engaged in courtroom work and out-of-court dispute resolution. His responsibilities include drafting pleadings, preparing motions, and conducting client interviews to define objectives and risks. He also spends time on legal research and factual development to present clear positions to judges, opposing counsel, or administrative decision-makers.

Colleagues describe his approach as methodical. He tends to prepare cases in stages, isolating key facts and legal issues before testing them through motion practice or negotiation. He balances document review and factual investigation with attention to deadlines and procedural requirements that shape outcomes in state-level matters.

Outside of firm responsibilities he participates in professional activities that keep him current on practice trends. Those engagements complement his daily work and help him respond to changes in court procedure and statutory developments that affect clients in Massachusetts.

As of 2026 he practices law in Massachusetts as a partner at Berluti McLaughlin & Kutchin LLP. His current practice centers on representing clients and advising them on legal options in matters arising under Massachusetts law.
