Michael Alan Brodsky is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2002. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Brodsky is the principal attorney at the Law Offices of Michael A. Brodsky, a law firm located in Discovery Bay, California. He has been practicing law for over two decades, serving clients throughout the state of California.

Mr. Brodsky earned his Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School in 2001. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated first in his class and earned the University Medal as the most distinguished graduate of 1994. During his time at Yale, he clerked for the Honorable Dorothy W. Nelson at the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit from 2001 to 2002.

Mr. Brodsky concentrates his practice in the area of environmental law. He represents individuals and organizations in matters involving environmental regulations, land use, and natural resource management. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Throughout his career, Mr. Brodsky has handled cases in the Superior Court of California, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as a law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Mr. Brodsky is an active member of the American Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. He has served as a city council member and Mayor of the City of Albany, California, in the 1990s. He has also taught classes in Administrative Law, Property, and California Water Law and Policy at the University of California, Boalt Hall Law School and the University of California at Santa Cruz. Mr. Brodsky is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of Spanish, allowing him to serve a diverse clientele effectively.
