About Michael A.
Michael A. Klima built his path to the law after completing a business management degree at St. John Fisher College in 2010 and earning his J.D. from SUNY Buffalo Law School in 2013. He entered the profession in Western New York and has remained tied to the region through both his membership in the Erie County Bar Association and his day-to-day practice.
Early on Klima took positions that gave him exposure to private practice dynamics. In 2014 he joined Ricotta & Visco, LLP as an associate lawyer. The following year he worked as a lawyer at Andrew Hilton Lawyers. Those roles placed him in firm-based settings where he worked on client matters and learned the routines of managing files, courtroom schedules and client communications.
Over time Klima moved into his current practice arrangement at Klima Law Group, PLLC. He practices through that firm and represents clients under New York law. The office acts as the base for his client work and daily legal operations. He continues to draw on his academic training in business and law when advising clients about legal decisions that also carry financial or organizational implications.
Klima has been a member of the Erie County Bar Association since 2014. That local affiliation connects him to the broader legal community in the Buffalo area and offers access to continuing education and professional programming. He maintains active ties to peers in the region and participates in association activities available to members.
Colleagues describe Klima as steady and practical in his approach. He keeps his explanations plain for clients and focuses on resolving the issues they bring into the office. He favors clear steps over jargon. He also pays attention to procedure and deadlines, which are central to handling matters in state court systems.
Licensed to practice in New York, Klima continues to operate from Klima Law Group, PLLC. His present practice serves clients in New York, addressing legal matters that arise under state law.
