About Michael A.

Michael A. Campbell earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies and Political Science from Ball State University in 2009. He continued his legal education at Valparaiso University School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2012. Those years of study provided a foundation in both the theory and practice of law and public policy.

After law school Campbell entered private practice. He is licensed to practice in Indiana and Illinois. Over time he has worked on matters that cross state lines, drawing on his undergraduate background in political science to understand regulatory and governmental contexts. He maintains current professional memberships in bar and legal organizations.

Colleagues describe Campbell as pragmatic in the office. He prefers clear legal analysis over jargon. He breaks problems into discrete issues and explains them plainly to clients. That approach reflects his classroom training and the kind of casework he takes on at his firm.

Campbell practices from Campbell Law, P.C., where he handles a range of matters for individual and business clients. The firm’s work draws on both statutory and procedural law in state courts. He spends time on pleadings, hearings and client counseling. When a matter moves toward trial, he prepares evidence and advocates in court.

Education and early career work inform how he evaluates cases. His legal studies background gives him a grounding in research and statutory interpretation. His political science coursework helps when cases touch on administrative rules or local government actions. Clients encounter him most often during the investigative and filing stages of a dispute, and he places emphasis on timely response and procedural compliance.

Outside the office Campbell participates in professional development programs to stay current on changes in state practice and procedure. He also collaborates with colleagues on complex matters that involve both Indiana and Illinois law. That cross-jurisdictional element is a practical feature of his day-to-day work.

He currently practices at Campbell Law, P.C., handling matters in Indiana and Illinois.
