About Meredith M
Meredith M Parrish took a conventional path through public universities to a career in the courtroom. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Georgia in 2003 and later returned to Atlanta to complete her J.D. at Georgia State University College of Law in 2011. Those years shaped her interest in litigation and in the mechanics of trial work.
Her early post-law school years included private practice and an entry-level move into firm life. By 2014 she was working at Kaufman Law, P.C., where she gained hands-on experience in case preparation, client advising and the daily demands of a litigation practice. The role allowed her to develop practical skills in motion practice and in managing pretrial discovery. Those experiences proved to be a foundation for the next phase of her career.
In 2018 she launched Parrish Trial Law. As the founding lawyer, she structured the practice around courtroom advocacy and trial readiness. The firm bears her name and reflects her interest in taking matters through to verdict when necessary. Opening her own office shifted her role from one of a firm associate to a trial attorney responsible for strategy, staffing and case workflow.
Parrish’s background combines regional education and years in Georgia practice. She is admitted to practice in Georgia. Her day-to-day work involves the litigation tasks common to trial lawyers: drafting pleadings, preparing witnesses, negotiating settlements and presenting evidence. She approaches cases with an emphasis on organization and preparation. She tends to prioritize clarity in filings and direct communication with clients.
Colleagues describe the work at Parrish Trial Law as focused on courtroom results and practical problem solving rather than on broad, generalized counsel. That approach is reflected in the firm’s structure and in the cases it accepts. Parrish has managed both the business and legal sides of a small litigation practice, a combination that has shaped how she staffs files and allocates resources.
Outside of the office she maintains ties to the local legal community. Her membership in professional associations keeps her connected to developments in Georgia procedure and trial practice. She lives and works in the state where she was educated and trained.
She is currently the principal of Parrish Trial Law, LLC, and focuses her practice on trial work and civil litigation.
