Melissa R. Knoerzer’s legal education is rooted in New Jersey. She completed her undergraduate studies at Rutgers School Of Law in 1999 and returned to Rutgers for her law degree, earning a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law–Newark in 2004. Those years set the foundation for a career that crosses state lines.
Fresh out of law school, Knoerzer entered practice and built experience in the neighboring jurisdictions of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is licensed to practice in both states. That dual admission has allowed her to work on matters that touch regulatory, transactional and litigation issues across state borders. Colleagues and clients have noted her steady approach to case preparation and attention to procedural detail.
Her classroom training at Rutgers was followed by hands-on legal work. Over time she has developed a practical sense for timing and strategy in contentious and non-contentious matters alike.
