About Melissa Kleminski
Melissa Kleminski Bower is an Arizona-based lawyer whose work is rooted in family court practice and courtroom procedure. She built a foundation in legal studies at the University of Arizona, earning a B.A. in 1996, and then completed her J.D. at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2000. Those years laid the groundwork for a career that would move between clerking, contract work and associate roles.
After law school, Bower spent time in roles that exposed her to both judicial decision-making and project-based litigation support. In 2004 she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Karen L. Suter in the Burlington County Family Division in New Jersey. That same year she worked as a contract project lawyer through JuriStaff, handling discrete assignments that supplemented her court-side experience.
Her early post-clerkship career continued in private practice. In 2005 she joined Nirenstein, Ruotolo and Gonzalez, PLC as an associate lawyer. She later worked as an associate at Boates Law Office, PLLC in 2006. By 2011 she was an associate at Stewart Law Group. Across those positions she handled family court matters, navigating custody, support and related proceedings on behalf of clients in state courts.
Bower’s professional affiliations reflect a practice concentrated in Arizona. She holds current membership in the State Bar of Arizona and participates in the Maricopa County Bar Association’s Family Law Section. Those memberships place her among local practitioners who regularly appear in Maricopa County family courts and who follow evolving state rules and case law.
Her practice operates out of a Phoenix main office and maintains a presence throughout the metropolitan area. She works from offices in Peoria, Glendale, Scottsdale, Chandler, Tempe, Mesa and Gilbert. That geographic reach allows her to handle matters across multiple court locations while remaining grounded in the procedural realities of family court in Arizona.
Colleagues and clients have encountered Bower in courtroom settings and in preparatory work for trials and hearings. Her path from law school through judicial clerkship and successive associate roles has given her sustained exposure to the mechanics of family law practice. She currently concentrates her practice on family law matters in Arizona, representing clients in custody, parenting time, support and related family court proceedings.
