About Meghan Kennedy
Meghan Kennedy Riordan is a principal at The Kitch Firm in Detroit, Michigan, specializing in immigration law. She joined the State Bar of Michigan in 1990 and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and the U.S. Supreme Court. Her early career included roles as an associate attorney at Mandel, Lipton and Stevenson in Chicago (1996–1998) and as a law clerk and associate at English and Van Horne in Detroit (1988–1995). She holds a Foreign Legal Consultant License from the Law Society of Upper Canada. Her professional affiliations include the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, the Incorporated Society of Irish American Lawyers, and the Catholic Lawyers Association. She was also recognized by Best Lawyers in America as a "Best Lawyer" in Immigration Law and as a Leading Lawyer in 2021 and 2022. She has authored several published articles on immigration and nationality law and frequently lectures on these topics.
