About Meghan
Meghan Chrisner-Keefe built a legal path that moves from public service to private practice. She entered law after an undergraduate degree and a few years in communications, then spent the early part of her legal career learning how cases are run from the inside out.
She earned a B.S. from Syracuse University in 2006 and a J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2011. The law school years included practical work that prefaced her first paid legal roles.
While in law school she took clinic and internship positions at the New York Legal Assistance Group and Legal Services of New Jersey in 2009. Those placements exposed her to client intake, benefit matters and other public-interest problems that often intersect with civil litigation. Before law school she worked as an account executive at Nike Communications, a role that preceded her decision to pursue law.
After graduating, she served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable James M. Blaney, J.S.C., on the Superior Court of New Jersey in 2011. The clerkship placed her at the center of written opinions, pretrial procedures and courtroom scheduling. Clerking gave her a view of case management and judicial decision-making that she carried into subsequent practice.
She moved into private practice in 2013 at Denbeaux & Denbeaux and later appeared on firm rosters as a lawyer and then an associate. In 2016 she is listed as an associate at the Law Offices of Russell Macnow, Lawyer at Law, LLC. Across those roles she handled matters that required litigation drafting, motion practice and courtroom appearances in state and federal settings.
Chrisner-Keefe is admitted to practice in New Jersey and is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Her background — a mix of public-interest internships, a state judicial clerkship and successive positions in law firms — has shaped a practice oriented toward litigation and courtroom work. Her current practice centers on litigation in New Jersey's state and federal courts.
