About Megan T.
Megan T. Lafata began a steady climb through law school into county government and then into private practice. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa in 2008 and a Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law in 2015. The classroom years were followed by moves into courtroom work and public service.
Her first notable post after law school was in DuPage County, where she served as an Assistant State Lawyer beginning in 2016.
