About Megan L.

Megan L. Drury completed a varied academic path before entering the legal profession. She earned a Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School in 2021. Earlier studies included social work and social policy at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she graduated in 2015, and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and criminology from Marquette University in 2011. Those earlier degrees gave her a perspective on systems and people that informs her work as an attorney.

Her legal training included roles inside and outside the courtroom. While at Marquette Law she served on the Student Advisory Board and worked in the Office of Public Service Employee in 2020. She spent time as a legal intern at WPS Health Insurance in 2019, where she gained exposure to regulatory and corporate processes. Before law school, she was a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Wisconsin in 2016.

Upon graduating from law school in 2021, she joined Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown LLP as an associate lawyer. That position marked her transition from student and intern to practicing lawyer. At the firm she has taken on responsibilities typical for a junior associate, including legal research, drafting, and participation in client meetings and case preparation.

Colleagues describe her approach as methodical. She draws on her social work and criminology background when assessing client needs and case dynamics. That combination of academic training and practical experience has shaped the way she analyzes legal problems. In settings where facts, policy, and people intersect, she tends to look for clear, procedural paths forward.

Drury is admitted to practice in Wisconsin. She maintains professional ties to the institutions where she trained, and her early internships and public service roles continue to influence her perspective on the practice of law. Since joining Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown LLP she has continued to build experience in the firm’s matters, contributing to both litigation support and transactional tasks as needed.

Outside the firm, her prior roles at Marquette and the University of Wisconsin indicate an interest in education and public service that predates her legal career. That background informs how she approaches client communication and case management. She currently practices at Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown LLP, focusing on the types of matters the firm handles on behalf of its clients.
