About Megan
Megan Erinakes built her pathway to law through a steady course of study. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma in 2016, where she took courses in constitutional studies and sociology with an emphasis on criminology. She then completed her Juris Doctor at the University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law in 2019.
Her legal career began shortly after law school. In 2019 she founded Erinakes Law, PLLC and has practiced under that name since. She started the firm as a small practice and has handled matters that commonly arise in family court and related civil proceedings. Her role at the firm is described as Lawyer & Counselor at Law.
Erinakes has pursued active participation in the bar and local legal community. She is a member of state and local organizations, including the Dallas, Collin and Tarrant County bar associations and their young lawyers groups. She also belongs to statewide organizations such as the Texas Bar College, Texas Young Lawyers Association, Texas Women Lawyers and the Texas Family Law Foundation. Her association list includes the American Bar Association and alumni groups for her law school and undergraduate university.
Through these connections she has worked alongside other practitioners who handle divorce, child custody and related financial issues. Her involvement in the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association and the Texas Family Law Foundation indicates regular contact with the family law bench and bar. She has also taken part in forums and continuing-education programs offered by county bar associations.
Colleagues describe her as an attorney who handles the everyday demands of family and civil cases. She manages filings, client counseling, settlement negotiations and courtroom appearances when necessary. At a small firm she performs a range of tasks from intake and client interviews to drafting pleadings and preparing for hearings.
Outside of practice, Erinakes remains connected to educational communities. She participates in alumni activities for the University of Oklahoma and the UNT Dallas College of Law, and maintains ties with the Alpha Omicron Pi alumni chapter in Dallas. These affiliations inform both her professional network and her ongoing legal education.
As of 2026 she continues to lead Erinakes Law, PLLC. Her current practice concentrates on family law and related civil matters.
