About Maximilian

Maximilian Bernard earned his Juris Doctor from Empire College School of Law in 2023 after beginning law studies in 2019. He completed a traditional course of study and entered the California legal community at a time of shifting court procedures and evolving practice needs. The timing gave him immediate exposure to contemporary issues facing new practitioners.

After law school, Bernard moved into practice in California. He joined local bar activities and developed experience advising clients on matters governed by state law. His participation in professional groups has been current since he began practicing, and he has used those connections to stay current on procedural and substantive developments.

Bernard’s early work covered a range of client needs. He has handled client counseling, document preparation and courtroom representation. He approaches each case with an emphasis on clear communication and practical problem solving. He aims to explain legal options plainly so clients can make informed choices.

In the courtroom he has represented clients before California tribunals. He prepares filings, conducts hearings and advocates for outcomes that reflect the client’s priorities. Outside court, he has invested time in drafting agreements and other legal instruments to help prevent disputes before they arise.

He practices at Bernard Law Office. The office serves clients in California and handles matters that arise under state law. Bernard balances in-office consultation with courtroom work, managing both transactional and contested matters as they come. He maintains a private practice at Bernard Law Office, representing clients in matters under California law.
