About Max G
Max G Frizalone took a direct route into courtroom work. He earned his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 2018 after studying litigation during his time there. That academic background set the stage for several years of hands-on trial and courtroom experience.
His early career began in public defense. In 2019 he joined the Maryland Office of the Public Defender as an assistant public defender. The role put him on his feet in court and required frequent client contact, case preparation, and sentencing advocacy. He handled a steady docket of misdemeanor and felony matters and learned the practical demands of criminal defense work.
A year later he moved to a different side of the aisle. In 2020 he served as an assistant states lawyer at the Prince George's County State's Attorney's Office. The position exposed him to prosecutorial practice and to the mechanics of case development from arrest through trial. That experience broadened his perspective on evidence, witness preparation, and trial strategy.
In 2021 he entered private practice as an associate at Albers and Associates. There he worked on both criminal and civil matters, taking on litigation tasks that ranged from pretrial motion practice to courtroom hearings. The transition to a small-firm environment required managing clients directly and coordinating with co-counsel on complex cases.
Frizalone maintains licensure across multiple jurisdictions. He is admitted to practice in Florida, the District of Columbia, and Maryland. He also holds membership in the Maryland State Bar Association, which keeps him tied to the state's legal community and continuing legal education opportunities.
Today he is associated with FrizWoods. His background in public defense, prosecutorial work, and private litigation informs his approach to case assessment and courtroom preparation. He brings experience on both sides of criminal matters and practical litigation experience to his current practice.
He currently practices at FrizWoods, handling criminal defense cases and litigation matters.
