About Mauricio
Mauricio Reznik entered law after an interdisciplinary undergraduate course of study. He earned a B.A. in economics and international relations from Tufts University before taking up legal studies at the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he received his J.D. His academic background pairs training in policy and international affairs with professional legal education.
He is the founder and lawyer at Reznik Law Group. He established the firm to provide legal services that operate inside California’s courts and in the federal districts that cover much of the state. He runs the practice as its principal lawyer and handles filings, court appearances, and client advisement for matters brought before state and federal tribunals.
On the admissions side, Reznik is authorized to practice in California and in several federal courts. He is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. Those admissions allow him to appear for clients in major trial courts across the region.
Reznik maintains active ties to professional organizations that serve lawyers across specialties and communities. He holds membership in the American Bar Association and the Hispanic National Bar Association. He is also a member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the San Diego La Raza Lawyers Association. These affiliations give him regular contact with peers and resources for case law, practice developments, and local legal concerns.
His prior study in economics and international relations informs how he approaches client matters. He tends to break complex problems into their legal and factual components and then address the tasks that move a case forward, such as drafting pleadings, preparing discovery, and managing court procedures. He represents clients in state court actions and in federal litigation in the California districts where he is admitted.
He practices from Reznik Law Group. He currently represents clients in matters before California courts and in the federal district courts where he is admitted, and he continues to operate his firm in that capacity.
