About Matthew S
Matthew S Tadlock brings an international academic background to a Texas-based practice. He earned a J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2011 and completed certificate work in international legal studies at the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2010. He also pursued studies in European and international business law at the University of Vienna and holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science and world affairs from Baylor University.
His early legal work began in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. In 2013 he worked as a contract lawyer for Moriarity & Leyendecker and established the Law Offices of Matthew S. Tadlock that same year. He joined Murrah & Killough, PLLC as a lawyer in 2014. In 2016 he became managing lawyer at Tadlock & Associates, PLLC. That move marked a shift into firm leadership and practice management while maintaining an office in Grapevine, Texas.
Tadlock’s education shows a consistent engagement with international and comparative law alongside domestic legal training. The comparative and international law studies at the University of Tulsa and the international legal studies certificate from McGeorge broadened his legal perspective. He supplemented that curriculum with study at the University of Vienna, which emphasized commercial and cross-border legal issues.
On the professional side, Tadlock holds membership in several local and statewide bar organizations. He has been a member of The College of the State Bar of Texas since 2014 and of the Tarrant County Bar Association since 2016. He is also listed as a member of the Northeast Tarrant County Car Association beginning in 2016. These affiliations place him in the network of Texas practitioners and community organizations in the DFW region.
Colleagues and clients see a lawyer who moved from contract and small-office practice into a role that combines casework with the responsibilities of running a firm. He has handled matters through successive small firms and his own office, learning the administrative side of practice alongside substantive legal work. His office is located in Grapevine, Texas, where he has maintained his practice presence since taking on the managing lawyer role.
He is licensed to practice in Texas and has continued to build a local practice rooted in his educational background in international and comparative law. He currently manages Tadlock & Associates, PLLC and practices from an office in Grapevine, Texas.
