About Matthew
Matthew Price earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Missouri–Columbia, completing a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies in 1995 and his J.D. in 1999. He arrived in law school after a liberal arts undergraduate program that bridged several disciplines, and left with a degree that set the stage for courtroom work and litigation practice. The Missouri academic roots run through his professional life.
His legal career began in the late 1990s. He served as a law clerk at Curran & Associates in 1998 while finishing law school. After passing the bar, he stayed on as a lawyer at Curran & Associates in 2001. The next year he moved to Bergmanis & McDuffey, LLC, where he continued handling civil matters and sharpened trial skills that would define his later work. Those early years were a steady progression from clerking and case preparation to primary responsibility for client representation.
In 2010 he became a partner at Price & Randle, LLC. That step marked a shift to firm leadership and greater responsibility for case strategy and client intake. As a partner he has overseen litigation teams, managed filings and motions, and guided settlement negotiations. The role also involves mentoring younger attorneys and participating in firm management decisions.
He is a long-standing member of Missouri’s legal community. He joined the Missouri Bar in 2001 and has maintained active membership since then. He served on the Missouri Bar Young Lawyers Section Council from 2004 to 2007. He is listed as a member of the Missouri Association of Trial Lawyers and joined the Million Dollar Advocates Forum in 2012. An Avvo rating of 10.0 appears on his public profile, and he is recognized by the Million Dollar Advocates group.
Those affiliations reflect the work he has pursued: courtroom practice and contested civil litigation. Colleagues and clients note a readiness to try cases when necessary, backed by experience in procedural and evidentiary matters. He has handled matters that require written motions, depositions and jury trial work in Missouri courts. He also engages in settlement negotiations when they serve a client’s interests.
Today he practices at Price & Randle, LLC in Missouri. He remains active in state bar activities and trial lawyer organizations, and he concentrates his practice on litigation and trial work in Missouri courts.
