Mr. Kraut earned his Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1992. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Loyola Marymount University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 1986. During his time at Santa Clara University, he developed a strong foundation in legal principles and practices, preparing him for a career in criminal law.
Mr. Kraut concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, handling cases involving DUI/DWI, felonies, misdemeanors, and other criminal offenses. Before establishing his own firm in 2018, he served as a Deputy District Attorney in San Luis Obispo County from 1998 to 2018 and in Ventura County from 1993 to 1998.
