About Matthew

Matthew Moreno earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in 2017. He left school equipped with courtroom procedure, legal writing and a clear sense that law practice in Texas would be his path. Early on he concentrated on learning the mechanics of client work and the rhythms of litigation and transactional matters.

He built his practice in Texas. Colleagues describe him as practical and methodical. He has worked on matters that required attention to deadlines and careful case preparation. Over time he took on more responsibility for managing client files and coordinating with opposing counsel.

Moreno’s work has unfolded in a mix of settings. He has experience drafting pleadings, preparing briefs and advising clients on procedural steps. He places emphasis on clarity in written work and on setting realistic expectations for clients about outcomes and timing. That steadiness shows in the way he approaches new matters: assess, prioritize, act.

Alongside casework, he has handled transactional tasks common to private practice. That has included contract review, negotiation and counseling through discrete business events. He approaches those matters with an attention to detail that clients find useful when decisions must be made under time pressure.

He joined inFidem Law PLLC where he continued to expand his practice. At the firm he works with teammates on both contested and non-contested matters. His role includes client counseling, drafting court filings and coordinating discovery when litigation is involved. He values clear lines of communication with clients and aims to keep them informed through the life of a matter.

Outside of direct client work he stays current on developments in Texas law. That allows him to apply recent rulings and procedural changes to client strategies. He prefers practical solutions when possible, and prepares for trial when necessary. The combination of courtroom preparation and transactional work shapes his day-to-day practice.

Colleagues say Moreno approaches each file with steady focus and a willingness to handle the details that often determine outcomes. He balances the procedural demands of litigation with the quieter work of negotiation and contract drafting. He continues practicing law in Texas at inFidem Law PLLC, representing clients in matters brought in the state courts and advising on related legal issues.
