About Matthew M
Matthew M Rossetti built his legal foundation in Chicago. He earned a B.A. in political science from DePaul University in 2009 and went on to receive a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2011. Those years bookend a period of study that led him into practice in the early 2010s.
He began his career working on his own. In 2012 he operated a solo practice, handling a range of matters that often fall to small firms and individual practitioners. Two years later he joined Sentient Law, Ltd., where his role expanded to include representation across multiple jurisdictions. Public records show his association with Sentient Law beginning in 2014.
Rossetti is admitted to practice in both Illinois and Texas. That geographic range has shaped the kinds of files he takes and how he approaches casework. Moving between state practice rules and client expectations in different courts requires attention to procedural detail and an ability to coordinate filings across state lines.
Beyond his firm roles, Rossetti maintains ties to the broader legal community. He holds memberships in professional organizations and, since 2020, has been associated with an entity described as Lawyer at Law. Those connections suggest ongoing engagement with peers and with continuing professional activities.
Colleagues describe his work as methodical. In a small-firm environment he has handled matters that demand both courtroom preparation and client counseling. His time as a solo practitioner gave him direct exposure to the full lifecycle of cases, from intake and investigation to resolution. At Sentient Law he has carried that hands-on experience into a team setting.
His practice spans transactional and litigation elements that are common for lawyers licensed in more than one state. That range means juggling deadlines, coordinating with local counsel when necessary, and adapting to different procedural rules. It also means advising clients whose needs cross state borders.
As of 2026 Rossetti continues his work at Sentient Law, Ltd., drawing on his experience in Illinois and Texas courts. He practices at Sentient Law, Ltd., handling matters in Illinois and Texas.
