About Matthew M.

Matthew M. McArthur earned his undergraduate degree in criminal justice from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas in 2006 and returned to UNLV for law school, receiving his J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law in 2009. Those years in Las Vegas shaped his early view of the law. He left law school with classroom training and a local network that would anchor his professional life.

He is licensed to practice in Nevada. After completing his legal education he moved into private practice. Records show he took on roles that led him to firm leadership. In 2021 he became lawyer and managing owner of TruLaw, a firm based in Nevada. That title reflects both legal work and administrative responsibility.

As managing owner at TruLaw, McArthur handles a range of duties beyond casework. He oversees day-to-day operations, manages client intake and file strategy, and supervises staff. He also deals with billing practices and the practical business tasks that keep a law office running. Those responsibilities require both legal judgment and managerial attention.

Colleagues describe him as practical and methodical in managing matters. He balances the demands of running a firm with direct involvement in client files. The result is a practice that aims to marry firm stability with responsive client service. He has kept his practice rooted in Nevada, handling matters that arise in the state’s courts and administrative forums.

McArthur maintains current memberships in professional associations. He participates in the professional community and stays connected to regional colleagues. That engagement supports continuing education and professional development, and provides a forum for exchanging perspectives on legal issues that affect practitioners in Nevada.

Outside the office he has remained connected to UNLV, the institution where he trained. His academic background in criminal justice and law informs how he approaches fact patterns and case strategy. He emphasizes clear, direct communication with clients and encourages careful preparation of paperwork and court filings.

He took the step into firm leadership in 2021 and has continued in that role. He currently concentrates on managing TruLaw’s legal services and representing clients in Nevada.
