About Matthew James

Matthew James Morrison is a business and estate planning attorney based in Orem, Utah. He has been practicing law for over 18 years, specializing in business law, estate planning, franchising, corporate litigation, and civil litigation. Mr. Morrison earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Brigham Young University in 1998. He then pursued his Juris Doctor at Washington and Lee University School of Law, graduating in 2007.

After law school, he began his legal career in North Carolina, where he was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 2008. In 2013, he was admitted to the Utah State Bar, where he has been an active member since. In 2016, Mr. Morrison founded Morrison Law Office in Orem, Utah. The firm focuses on assisting corporations and small businesses with their legal needs, including business and franchise law, corporate law, litigation, and estate planning.

Throughout his career, Mr. Morrison has been recognized for his contributions to the legal field. He was inducted into the Marquis Who's Who Registry in 2021. Additionally, he has been selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for 2019 and 2020. Mr.

Morrison is also active in his community, volunteering with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Boy Scouts of America. He is fluent in English and Portuguese.
