Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate studies at St. Mary's College of California, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Economics. Throughout his career, Mr. Buzzell focused on workers' compensation cases, labor and employment law, and corporate matters. Buzzell, III, later rebranded as Buzzell Law Group, PC, to advocate for injured workers in Northern California. His practice encompassed all stages of litigation, including hearings, appeals, negotiations, and trials, handling cases such as workers' compensation claims, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, and employment discrimination.

Mr. Buzzell's legal experience included serving as national trial counsel for the California Workers' Compensation Defense Attorneys' Association and handling over 100 trials before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board. He also lectured on workers' compensation legal issues and served as CEO and general counsel for the San Francisco Institute of Hyperbaric Medicine, a research and development company. His diverse experience enabled him to effectively represent clients in various legal stages, from initial case evaluation to complex litigation.

He was an active member of the California State Bar and the American Bar Association.
