About Matthew
Matthew Gottlieb is an attorney licensed to practice in Florida. He earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern University and began building his legal career in South Florida courts and firms soon after. He entered the profession at a time when courtroom experience and steady advancement often come hand in hand.
Gottlieb’s early legal work started in 2013 as a law clerk at Greenspoon Marder, P.A. That entry-level position exposed him to the day-to-day demands of litigation and firm practice. He moved into associate roles over the next several years, joining Matt Hellman PA in 2015 and then Milber Makris Plousadis & Seiden, LLP in 2016. Those positions gave him repeated opportunities to handle client matters, prepare filings and participate in case strategy discussions.
In 2019 Gottlieb served as an associate at both Green Ackerman & Matzner PA and Kanner & Pintaluga. Working at multiple firms in a single year is often a sign of a lawyer seeking varied courtroom and office experience. By the time he settled at Kanner & Pintaluga, he had accumulated a string of assignments that covered a range of litigation tasks and courtroom procedures.
He advanced to partner at Kanner & Pintaluga in 2021. In that role he assumed greater responsibilities for case oversight and for mentoring more junior lawyers. As a partner he has continued to handle litigation matters while participating in internal firm decisions on case management and client service.
Throughout his career Gottlieb has handled work common to litigators: drafting pleadings, managing discovery, preparing witnesses and coordinating courtroom filings. Those activities speak to a practice built on procedural fluency and courtroom readiness rather than on transactional work. His experience across several Florida firms gave him repeated contact with state court systems and civil procedure.
