About Matthew C
Matthew C Enrooth earned his law degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law. He completed the program prepared for practice and courtroom work. The law school years provided the foundation for a legal career that has unfolded in Montana courts and offices.
Early in his career Enrooth served as a law clerk for the Honorable Ray J. Dayton of the Montana Third Judicial District Court in Anaconda. In that role he worked on legal research, drafted memoranda and orders, and got sustained exposure to trial-level procedure. The clerkship offered a close view of how judges manage caseloads and make evidentiary rulings.
After the clerkship Enrooth moved into public defense work in Bozeman. At the Bozeman Public Defender’s Office he represented clients in a range of criminal matters. That position involved courtroom appearances, plea negotiations and preparing for trial. He handled day-to-day case management and client contact in a high-volume setting, a practical education that often differs from academic training.
Enrooth later joined Vicevich Law as an associate lawyer. In that capacity he continued practicing in Montana state courts. His background in both a judicial chambers and a public defender office informs his approach to litigation and client representation. Colleagues say he brings thorough preparation to hearings and trials and pays attention to courtroom procedure.
He is admitted to practice in Montana and maintains professional memberships. Outside of the record of jobs, Enrooth has built practical skills in criminal litigation, trial advocacy and court procedure. He combines hands-on courtroom experience with the research skills developed during his clerkship.
Today he is an associate at Vicevich Law. He handles criminal defense and related matters in Montana state courts, managing cases from initial appearances through resolution.
