Matt Stacy combined numbers and enterprise before he ever set foot in a courtroom. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, then moved southwest for an MBA in entrepreneurship at the University of Arizona. He completed his legal training at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, emerging with a law degree that matched his business training.
Stacy’s academic path informed the way he approaches legal work. His business education gave him familiarity with financial models and the concerns of owners and managers. Law school added doctrine and procedure. The result is a practitioner who can read a balance sheet and a statute with equal attention.
He is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and before the Federal Circuit. That combination allows him to handle state matters and federal filings that reach a nationwide appellate forum. At Stacy Legal Group, LLP he serves as a lawyer handling client matters that cross business and legal lines. His role at the firm involves advising clients, preparing filings, and representing interests in court and in administrative proceedings when required.
