About Matt
Matt Hunter learned the law at the University of Idaho College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor. He arrived in the classroom intent on understanding how state courts and statutes shape daily life. Law school set the foundation for a career practiced entirely in Idaho.
After law school he joined Peters Patchin & Monaghan. His time there has involved steady work inside a regional firm that handles a range of matters for local clients. He has built experience on matters that arise in Idaho’s legal system and has remained based in the state since starting his practice.
Hunter is a current member of the Idaho State Bar. That active membership reflects his ongoing authorization to practice in Idaho. He stays engaged with the bar’s continuing education offerings and follows regulatory developments that affect how lawyers in the state advise clients and appear in court.
Over the years at Peters Patchin & Monaghan he has taken on responsibilities that include client counseling, case preparation, and courtroom appearances when required.
