About Matt G

Matt G Wayman earned his Juris Doctor from Saint Louis University in 2017. He completed a rigorous legal education at a university known for its emphasis on both doctrinal study and practical skills. Classroom work and clinical opportunities there set the stage for his entry into practice in Missouri.

After law school he moved into practice in Missouri, where he is authorized to appear in state courts. He has maintained professional association memberships since entering the bar, and those memberships remain current. Over the years he has navigated the practical demands of client work, court appearances and the deadlines that shape litigation and transactional files.

Colleagues describe his approach as direct and workmanlike. He balances preparation for court with the everyday tasks of client counsel. That combination of preparation and steadiness is evident in how he handles case intake, discovery and oral argument. He is comfortable in courtrooms and in meetings with clients, and he pays attention to procedural detail.

His experience covers matters that require courtroom presence as well as matters resolved through negotiation or administrative process. He has handled filings, motions and hearings in Missouri courts and has represented clients before state administrative bodies when cases called for it. He also handles the drafting and review of pleadings and other legal documents that arise in common civil and administrative practice.

At The Hammer Law Office he serves as an attorney working on client matters under the firm’s banner. The office provides a base for client intake, case management and courtroom work. He coordinates with other attorneys and staff at the firm on multi-faceted files and relies on practical case management systems to keep matters moving.

Outside of the immediate casework, he continues to engage with the legal community through association participation and by staying current on developments in Missouri law. He remains based in Missouri and draws on his Saint Louis University training in daily practice. He currently practices at The Hammer Law Office, concentrating on representing clients in matters before Missouri courts and administrative bodies.
