About Martha

Martha Decker built her legal foundation at two well-known universities. She attended Stanford University before earning her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School. Those years shaped her approach to legal analysis and client communication.

After law school Decker gained admission to practice in both Arizona and Georgia. She has operated across those jurisdictions, advising clients on matters that require an understanding of regional law and procedure. Her dual admissions allow her to move between state courts and to coordinate work that spans state lines.

Decker joined Hill, Kertscher & Wharton, LLP where she brought her academic training into daily practice. At the firm she has worked on cases and matters that involve state statutory issues and procedural questions. Colleagues say she handles complex factual records carefully and prepares for hearings and filings with attention to detail.

Her work often requires blending research, written advocacy and client counseling. She prepares briefs, responds to regulatory inquiries, and meets with clients to map out practical next steps. She has experience in courtroom settings as well as in negotiations and administrative proceedings, responding to the needs of businesses and individuals in both Arizona and Georgia.

Outside individual matters Decker keeps current on legal developments that affect her clients. Maintaining licensure in two states means staying attentive to shifting rules and precedent in different courts. That ongoing work informs how she structures cases and advises clients on timing, jurisdiction and potential remedies.

Martha Decker continues to practice at Hill, Kertscher & Wharton, LLP, representing clients in matters that arise under Arizona and Georgia law and providing counsel on procedural and substantive issues across both jurisdictions.
