About Marta

Marta Dybowski built a legal foundation across several states and disciplines. She earned a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Delaware in 2009, a J.D. from New York Law School in 2013, and an LL.M. in Corporate Law from Widener University Delaware School of Law in 2017. In 2023 she completed a certificate in Estate Planning from Villanova University School of Law.

Her early legal work began in the court system. In 2014 she served as a clerk of the court for a Justice of the Peace Court, a role that introduced her to the mechanics of judicial administration. She moved into the private and regulatory sectors soon after, working as a Client Regulatory Specialist at JPMorgan Chase in 2015. That position exposed her to compliance and client-facing regulatory matters. In 2017 she returned to private practice as an associate at Nordheimer Law, where she handled matters that combined transactional and litigation elements.

In 2023 she founded The Marta Firm, LLC and took on the role of managing lawyer. The firm reflects her mix of courtroom and transactional experience. She holds a mediation certification from the Delaware Superior Court and maintains active professional ties through the Delaware State Bar Association.

Dybowski is admitted to practice in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, and she is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court. Her academic background in corporate law and her estate planning certificate shape much of her practice. She has worked on corporate governance issues, contract matters, and estate planning projects. She also brings courtroom experience when disputes move into litigation.

Colleagues describe her approach as practical and detail-oriented. She tends to balance document drafting and negotiation with preparation for hearings and appellate matters. Her mediation credential allows her to take on alternative dispute resolution when clients seek that route. She keeps professional activities local, maintaining membership in the Delaware State Bar Association and practicing in nearby federal and state courts.

She now leads The Marta Firm, LLC, representing individuals and businesses in estate planning, corporate law, mediation, and litigation in state and federal courts.
