Mark W — Neis is a board-certified consumer bankruptcy specialist practicing in Topeka, Kansas. He has been licensed to practice law in Kansas since 1977. He earned his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law in 1977 and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Washburn University in 1973.
In 1984, Mark co-founded Neis & Michaux, P.A. with his wife, Jill Michaux, merging their individual law practices. The firm specializes in consumer bankruptcy law, representing debtors and small business proprietors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases.
They do not represent creditors. Mark is a founding member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and served as the past president of the Topeka Area Bankruptcy Council. He is also a founding member of the Kansas Bar Association Bankruptcy and Insolvency Section.
