About Mark
Mark Troy built his legal foundation in West Virginia. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and economics from Marshall University in 1990. He then went on to the West Virginia University College of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor in 1994. Those academic years set a clear path toward a regional practice centered on the Mountain State and its neighbors.
He is admitted to practice in both West Virginia and Kentucky. Over the years he has worked in roles that place him regularly before state courts in both jurisdictions. His professional timeline follows the trajectory common to many lawyers who move from law school into active practice within the same region where they studied and built early professional ties.
Troy is a member of Morgan & Morgan. At that firm he is part of a larger attorney roster that handles a range of matters across state lines. His work involves case preparation, client counsel, court filings and appearances in West Virginia and Kentucky. He operates from the firm’s offices and coordinates with colleagues as cases require. Colleagues and court records show him engaged in the everyday tasks that make up trial preparation and client representation at a regional firm.
Outside the courtroom he maintains connections to the legal community in his home states. His career reflects continuous practice since earning his law degree. He remains active in cases that require an understanding of both West Virginia and Kentucky procedure and statute. He currently practices at Morgan & Morgan, representing clients in matters in West Virginia and Kentucky.
