About Mark

Mark Rodgers is a personal injury attorney based in Bemidji, Minnesota. He has been practicing law for over four decades, focusing on personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, asbestos and mesothelioma cases, and insurance claims. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota and North Dakota, and has argued cases before the U.S. Supreme Court. He earned his Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School in 1981 and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from Gustavus Adolphus College in 1978.

After law school, he moved to Bemidji, where he began his legal career in general private practice and served as an assistant county attorney from 1981 to 1984. From 1984 to 1992, he emphasized workers' compensation and injury cases while also working part-time as an assistant public defender for the 9th Judicial District of Minnesota. Since 1993, he has focused primarily on representing injured individuals seeking fair compensation from insurance companies. In 2012, Rodgers was honored with the Minnesota Lawyer Magazine’s Attorney of the Year Award for his dedication to representing teachers affected by post-traumatic stress disorder following the Red Lake High School shooting. He successfully advocated for these teachers to receive workers' compensation benefits for PTSD, a cause that was personally meaningful to him due to his mother's volunteer work in environmental activism.

Rodgers is an active member of the Workers' Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG), a national non-profit organization dedicated to representing the interests of workers and their families who suffer from workplace injuries and illnesses. He has also been invited to be a member of the National Trial Lawyers Organization due to his firm's reputation for outstanding legal work. He is the founding partner of Rodgers Law Office, PLLC, located at 1421 Bemidji Avenue North, Bemidji, MN 56601.
