About Mark
Mark Johnson graduated from Louisiana State University's Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2015 after completing his undergraduate studies in political science at LSU Baton Rouge in 2008. He followed a conventional academic path, combining the study of law with an earlier interest in government and public affairs. His time at law school included coursework that prepared him for courtroom work and client representation.
Soon after earning his J.D., Johnson began practicing across several state jurisdictions. He is admitted to practice in Louisiana, Missouri and Illinois. Those admissions have shaped the geographical reach of his work. He has handled matters that required travel between courts and coordination with counsel in different legal environments.
Early in his career he worked in smaller firms where case management and courtroom readiness were part of day-to-day duties. That period helped him develop practical litigation skills. He handled research, drafted motions and participated in hearings. Over time his caseload grew to include more complex matters that required sustained litigation strategy and client communication.
Johnson's professional path led him to Brown & Crouppen Law Office, where he joined an established legal team. At the firm he continued to litigate and advise clients, often preparing cases for trial and handling negotiations. His work involves managing evidence, coordinating with experts and presenting legal positions in court. Colleagues describe him as steady in the courtroom and deliberate in his case preparation.
Outside the courtroom he has relied on the analytical training from his political science background. That grounding informs how he frames legal arguments and assesses risk for clients. He also keeps up with procedural developments across the three states where he is licensed. His practice includes courtroom appearances, client counseling and the routine tasks of litigation management.
Today Johnson practices at Brown & Crouppen Law Office. He represents clients in matters that require litigation across Louisiana, Missouri and Illinois and handles case development, trial preparation and negotiation on their behalf. His current practice focuses on litigation and client advocacy across multiple state courts.
