About Mark
Mark Griffin built his path into law through a steady progression of study and practice. He studied at Providence College and Union University before completing his legal education at Albany Law School. Those years shaped his approach to the courtroom and to client work.
Early in his career he settled in Connecticut. He is a member of the Connecticut State Bar and has worked in the state’s civil courts since moving into practice. He developed a practice centered on injury cases, learning the mechanics of claims, evidence gathering and settlement strategy one matter at a time.
Griffin’s work is practical and case-driven. He handles claims for people who have been injured in automobile crashes, on the job and in other incidents that cause bodily harm. He represents clients in negotiations with insurers and in litigation when cases proceed to trial. He tends to client matters that require medical records review, expert testimony and an understanding of how damages are calculated under state law.
Colleagues describe his approach as methodical. He breaks complex medical and technical information into plain terms for jurors and judges. In written filings he aims for clear argument rather than flourish. In depositions and hearings he focuses on extracting the facts relevant to liability and damages.
Outside of casework, Griffin maintains ties to Connecticut’s legal community through bar activities. He keeps up with changes in civil procedure and insurance law that affect personal injury practice. He also spends time mentoring younger lawyers in practical trial techniques and case preparation.
He is based at Griffin Injury Law LLC, where he manages client intake, case strategy and courtroom appearances. The office handles cases across Connecticut and represents clients at various stages, from initial claims through appeals when necessary. He continues to try cases and to negotiate settlements on behalf of injured people.
In 2026 his practice continues to concentrate on personal injury litigation in Connecticut, representing clients in both negotiations with insurers and in court when claims cannot be resolved privately.
