About Mark F.
Mark F. Kluger trained as a historian before turning to law. He earned a B.A. in History from Vassar College in 1980 and completed his J.D. at Cornell University in 1984. Those years set the groundwork for a legal career that moved steadily from associate to partner and into practice before both state and federal tribunals.
He began his legal practice in private firm settings. In 1987 he joined Clapp & Eisenberg, PC as an associate. That period provided routine experience in client representation and courtroom procedure. By 1994 he advanced to a partner role at Jasinski and Paranac, PC. The move marked a transition to greater responsibility in case management and firm leadership.
In 2002 Kluger took a partner position at Mandelbaum Salsburg, PC. He spent a decade there, working on matters handled by a mid-size regional practice. His responsibilities included supervising associates and participating in the strategic direction of the firm. In 2012 he became a partner at Kluger Healey, LLC, where he remains listed as a firm partner.
Kluger is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, and he holds admissions that reach beyond state lines. His credentials include admission to the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Those admissions permit him to undertake appellate filings and to appear on matters that require advocacy in federal appellate arenas.
Colleagues describe him as steady and methodical in approach. He has handled matters that required coordinating discovery, preparing motions, and briefing appellate issues. He has also supervised trial preparation and worked directly with clients on case strategy. His background in history informs a careful attention to documentary records and chronology, an asset in complex fact patterns.
Over the course of more than three decades in practice, Kluger moved through a series of law firms and roles that broadened his experience in both trial and appellate work. He has shifted between firms while maintaining a practice that crosses state and federal lines. He currently practices at Kluger Healey, LLC, where his work centers on litigation and appellate matters.
