About Mark

Mark Dlugopolsky entered law after an undergraduate period spent studying sports management and marketing e-commerce. He earned a B.B.A. from Tiffin University in 2006. He then went on to earn his J.D. from Ave Maria School of Law in 2009. Those classroom years shaped his early approach to practice: practical, business-minded and attentive to the details clients often overlook.

His professional record is a steady climb through different practice settings. In 2010 he opened a solo practice under the name Mark Dlugopolsky, Lawyer At Law. That year gave him direct experience running a practice and managing client matters from intake to resolution. In 2013 he joined Robert Higgins and Associates as an associate lawyer. There he worked in a more structured firm setting, taking on assignments that broadened his exposure to firm-based litigation and client service. In 2019 he moved to Balin Law, LLC as an associate lawyer. Each of those posts added a different set of responsibilities and deepened his familiarity with how various offices handle case work and client relationships.

Dlugopolsky is licensed to practice in both Colorado and Ohio. He has split time between solo practice and firm roles. That combination has given him experience on both sides of the desk: advising and arguing, but also running the administrative side of a law office. Colleagues describe him as methodical in his approach to case preparation. He tends to prioritize clear organization and thorough review of the facts.

Outside of firm titles and dates, his background suggests an interest in the intersection of business and law. His undergraduate training in business and marketing gave him a grounding in commercial thinking. His law school training followed shortly after and pushed him into the work of litigation and client counseling. He has handled matters in multiple venues and adapted to both solo and collaborative practice environments.

Today he practices at Balin Law, LLC. He remains licensed in Colorado and Ohio and continues to work on matters arising in those jurisdictions. He handles client work from initial consultation through resolution, balancing case strategy with office management experience gained over more than a decade in practice.
