About Mark
Mark Breaugh built a clear path to a legal career that now sits at the intersection of law and health care. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Albion College in 2013 and completed his Juris Doctor at Wayne State University Law School in 2017. Those years established the academic foundation he uses in practice today.
During law school Breaugh studied the doctrines and procedures that shape state and federal regulation. He graduated in 2017 and entered practice at a moment when regulatory scrutiny in health care was intensifying. The curriculum at Wayne State exposed him to administrative law and professional responsibility, subjects that many attorneys encounter early in careers tied to regulated industries.
After law school, Breaugh joined The Health Law Partners, P.C. as an associate. In that role he works on matters that arise under health care statutes, regulations, and contracts. His day-to-day responsibilities include researching regulatory issues, drafting documents, and advising clients on compliance questions. He also participates in transactional work and supports more senior lawyers on litigation-related tasks when regulatory disputes require attention.
Breaugh is admitted to practice in Michigan and maintains current membership in the State Bar of Michigan. That membership keeps him connected to developments in state law and to professional resources relevant to health care practice. He attends continuing legal education programs to track changes in licensing, reimbursement, and privacy rules that affect providers and health care businesses.
Colleagues describe his approach as methodical and precise. He tends to break complex regulatory frameworks into discrete questions. That makes it easier to identify practical steps clients can take. He prefers clear writing and an evidence-based analysis that clients can use when making policy or operational decisions.
Outside the office he keeps up with emerging issues in health care law through reading and local bar programming. He also draws on his undergraduate liberal arts education when addressing factual and ethical questions that arise in client matters. Breaugh’s background in both liberal arts and law informs the balance he brings to legal problem solving.
He currently serves as an associate at The Health Law Partners, P.C., where his practice centers on health care regulatory and transactional matters.
