Mark Ballantyne entered law school after completing his undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University in 2008. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Richmond School of Law in 2012. Those formative years combined classroom learning and practical exercises. They set the stage for a career in legal practice in Virginia.
He began his career on the associate track at Cooley Godward Kronish LLP. As an associate, he joined a team that handles a range of transactional and litigation matters.
