About Mark Aaron

Mark Aaron Hinrichs trained in Florida and returned to practice law in the mid-2000s. He earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami in 2000 and completed his Juris Doctor at Shepard Broad Law Center, Nova Southeastern University, in 2007. Those academic years framed an early interest in courtroom work and criminal law.

After law school, Hinrichs moved into criminal defense practice. Over time he built experience handling a range of matters in the two states where he is admitted to practice: New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He holds membership in the Pennsylvania State Bar and belongs to the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, where he participates in the professional community that shapes criminal defense advocacy across the state.

Hinrichs’s daily work centers on representing people charged with crime. He takes cases that involve contested hearings, plea negotiations and trial work. He prepares motions, argues issues in court and meets regularly with clients to explain legal options and potential outcomes. He is known among colleagues for a methodical approach to case preparation and attention to procedural detail, which clients often encounter early in the process when defenses are developed and evidentiary issues are assessed.

His practice has required familiarity with the courts and rules in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. That dual-jurisdiction practice means managing different procedural timelines and local courtroom customs. It also means coordinating discovery and strategy when matters cross state lines or involve practitioners from multiple offices.

Outside courtroom appearances, Hinrichs keeps current on criminal law developments through bar activities and association meetings. Membership in professional organizations gives him access to continuing legal education and peer discussions about evolving case law and trial tactics. He uses those opportunities to refine how he crafts motions and presents client defenses in court.

He practices at MH Criminal Defense. There he handles client intake, case strategy and courtroom representation. His current practice focuses on criminal defense matters in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, where he represents clients at various stages of criminal proceedings.
