Marjorie A. Maxwell earned her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in 2007 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of Houston in 2000. She entered the Texas legal community soon after law school. Her education set a practical foundation for a practice centered on family law.
Her early years in practice involved a series of associate positions at small and mid-size Texas firms. In 2008 she worked at McEvily & Flowers. She moved to Myres, Dale & Associates P.C. in 2010, then to Laura Dale & Associates, P.C. in 2011. In 2012 she joined Jenkins & Kamin as an associate. Those posts gave her exposure to contested divorces, child custody disputes, and post-judgment enforcement matters.
In 2016 she established The Maxwell Law Office, PLLC, taking on the responsibilities of firm ownership while continuing client work. Two years later she returned to Laura Dale & Associates, P.C. as a senior associate in 2018.
