About Mario
Mario Musil built a steady legal foundation through consecutive degrees in business and law. He earned a B.S. in Management and Entrepreneurship from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2005, followed by an MBA in Business and Finance from the same school in 2006. He completed his legal education at Florida State University College of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2008.
After law school Musil took on a mix of public and conflict-counsel work that shaped his courtroom experience. In 2008 he served as a certified legal intern at the Florida State Lawyer's Office. That same year he worked as Criminal and Civil Conflict Counsel, handling matters that required moving between criminal and civil dockets. Those early roles exposed him to trial practice and case management under pressure.
Two years later he opened The Musil Law Office. Since 2010 he has practiced under that firm name. He is admitted to the bars in Florida and Oregon, and he is authorized to appear in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. That mix of state and federal permissions informs the scope of cases he accepts and the venues where he represents clients.
Musil maintains several professional affiliations that track the variety of his work. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Locally, he participates in the Brevard County Bar Association and the Brevard Bar Foundation. He also serves as a pro bono Lawyer ad Litem for Brevard County Legal Aid, taking on appointments that involve child welfare and guardianship matters.
Colleagues and clients describe him as pragmatic. He approaches cases with an eye for practical outcomes rather than theatrical gestures. His courtroom years include both public-sector litigation and private defense practice, and he draws on both for strategy and negotiation.
Today Musil runs The Musil Law Office and handles matters across the jurisdictions where he is admitted. He represents clients in state and federal court and balances paid work with pro bono appointments in Brevard County. He focuses his current practice on criminal defense, civil matters and immigration issues.
