About MariaJose
MariaJose Delgado earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia in 2001 and completed her Juris Doctor at Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2010. She moved from a liberal arts undergraduate education into legal studies at Temple, where she graduated during a period of significant change in the legal job market. The academic path set a clear stage for a practice that spans more than one state.
After law school, Delgado began working in private practice and built a practice licensed in both Pennsylvania and Colorado. Her dual jurisdiction standing means she has handled matters governed by two distinct state bodies of law. Over time she developed a working knowledge of how courts and administrative systems differ across state lines. Colleagues describe her approach as methodical and practical. She is comfortable in written advocacy as well as in courtroom settings.
Delgado joined Robinson & Henry, P.C., where she is part of the firm’s team serving clients on regional matters. At the firm she handles client consultations, prepares legal filings, and appears in hearings when needed. Her role involves advising clients about procedural steps, reviewing documentation, and arguing matters before judges and tribunals. She has practiced across a range of matters that require careful attention to statutory and case law in both Pennsylvania and Colorado.
Her education informs how she approaches cases and client counseling. University of Virginia provided a broad liberal arts foundation; Temple Beasley School of Law offered immersion in practical and doctrinal legal study. Those experiences shaped the way she analyzes factual records and frames legal questions for decision-makers. Her time in two different legal markets has also shaped how she manages cross-jurisdictional issues for clients.
Outside court appearances and filings, Delgado spends time refining briefs and building legal strategies tailored to state-specific rules and timelines. She balances the demands of case preparation with client-facing work, ensuring clients understand next steps and options. The combination of training and multi-state practice gives her familiarity with procedural nuances that often determine case outcomes.
Today she practices at Robinson & Henry, P.C., holding licenses in both Colorado and Pennsylvania and representing clients under the laws of those states. Her current practice focuses on representing clients and managing matters in both Colorado and Pennsylvania.
