About Mariah D.
Mariah D. Stover earned her law degree from American University Washington College of Law in 2008 after completing a Bachelor of Arts at Bowling Green State University in 2005. She moved to Maryland following law school and established professional roots there. Her early training combined classroom work and practical experiences that shaped her decision to remain in the state.
She joined Anthony A. Fatemi, LLC as an associate in 2011. In that role she handled client matters and courtroom responsibilities typical of a small firm setting. The position required balancing research, motion practice and client counseling. Colleagues from that period recall her steady presence in the office and a willingness to take on complex assignments.
Over the next decade Stover’s responsibilities expanded. In 2022 she became a partner at Anthony A. Fatemi, LLC. The promotion reflected a shift to greater case management and a role in firm decision-making. She began supervising junior lawyers and coordinating with experts and opposing counsel on larger matters. The move into partnership also added administrative duties, including mentoring and contributing to firm strategy.
Beyond firm work, Stover has maintained a steady presence in Maryland’s professional circles. She joined the Maryland State Bar Association and the Bar Association of Montgomery County in 2008 and retains membership in both organizations. Those affiliations have given her a network among local judges and practitioners and provided a forum for continuing legal education.
Stover’s practice is based at Anthony A. Fatemi, LLC in Maryland. She works on cases that arise in the state’s courts and advises clients on procedures and filings specific to Maryland law. Her current work at Anthony A. Fatemi, LLC centers on handling matters in Maryland courts.
